Fleet Owner: Business Awards

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for these Awards, the entity should own and operate one or more Commercial Vehicles with the specified GVW Commercial Vehicles with the specified GVW. The applicant should also comply with the other requirements and conditions as laid down in the Rules and Regulations section of the Prospectus and Entry Form

Fleet Owners can apply for only ONE of the Award Categories Award Categories in Sections 3-7 of the Entry Form

Fleet Owner - Outperformance in Business

Last Mile Business Solutions (primarily using SCVs)

M&M has instituted this award to recognize and applaud Fleet Owners who have demonstrated excellence in Last Mile Business Solutions using Small Commercial Vehicles (SCVs) over the twelve-month period April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019.
Eligibility Criteria: Ownership of a Commercial Vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) / Gross Combination Weight Eligibility Criteria: Ownership of a Commercial Vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) / Gross Combination Weight (GCW) up to 3,500 kilograms

Best Business Solutions (primarily using LCVs/ICVs)

M&M has instituted this award to recognize and applaud Fleet Owners who have demonstrated excellence in Business solutions using Light Commercial Vehicles / Intermediate Commercial Vehicles (LCVs/ICVs) over the twelve-month period April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019.
Eligibility Criteria: Ownership of a Commercial Vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) / Gross Combination Weight Eligibility Criteria: Ownership of a Commercial Vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) / Gross Combination Weight (GCW) over 3,500 kilograms and up to 16,000 kilograms

Long Haul Business Solutions (primarily using HCVs)

M&M has instituted this award to recognize and applaud Fleet Owners who have demonstrated excellence in Business solutions using Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCVs) over the twelve-month period April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019.
Eligibility Criteria: Ownership of a Commercial Vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) / Gross Combination Weight Eligibility Criteria: Ownership of a Commercial Vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) / Gross Combination Weight (GCW) over 16,000 kilograms

Evaluation Criteria: Outperformers in Business

One or more of the following criteria will be used by the Jury to shortlist and select the winners for the above three categories. Applicants should demonstrate their measurable performance demonstrate their measurable performance in these areas over the twelve-month period April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019.

Effectiveness of business strategies adopted in the Last Mile transportation
Use of Technology to bring about improvements in transportation
Improvement initiatives undertaken; benefits delivered to the organization and/or customers
People Management practices across the organization, especially for drivers

Emerging Transport Business of the Year 2019

M&M has instituted the Emerging Transport Business Award to recognize outstanding achievements and perseverance by these young transport companies, utilizing ICVs and HCVs. M&M believes that a clear objective and focus on all dimensions of business will lead to OUTPERFORMANCE. This unique award endeavours to recognize those who challenge the status quo – growth-focused, innovative and success-driven emerging transport companies

The applicant should be less than 10 years old as on 30th September 2019. Group entities / subsidiaries / sister The applicant should be less than 10 years old as on 30th September 2019. Evaluation Criteria: Emerging Transport Business

One or more of the following criteria will be used by the Jury to shortlist and select the winners. Applicants should demonstrate their measurable performance demonstrate their measurable performance in these areas over the twelve-month period April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019. Demonstrated growth after starting business and measurable results are key requirements.

Effectiveness of business strategies adopted.
Use of Technology to bring about improvements in the business.
Improvement initiatives undertaken; measurable benefits delivered to the organization and/or Customers.
People Management practices across the organization.
Customer centric business solutions implemented to achieve growth

Outperformance in Integrated Logistics Services

This Award is intended to recognize efforts taken by Fleet Owners who have expanded their service offerings beyond Road Transport and have moved to becoming Logistics Service Providers.
Logistics Service Providers offering a range of services across the supply chain are eligible to apply. Applicants must be delivering Applicants must be delivering two or more two or more of the following services: freight forwarding and of the following services: freight forwarding and transport (air/rail/road/ocean/multimodal), warehousing and distribution, customs clearance, other value-added services.
It is critical for the applicant to demonstrate that customers have received the above Logistics services resulting in distinct benefits to the customer supply chain.
Measurable results reported / endorsed by the customer is key requirement.
These services must have been provided to customers during the twelve-month period April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019
