Fleet Driver/Super Outperformer Driver

Eligibility Criteria

  • M&M has instituted the Fleet Driver Award to felicitate drivers who have gone beyond their work sphere and created a positive impact for the business, customers and community.
  • The nominations for this category have been submitted by eligible Fleet Owners over the past two years. This year M&M has decided to reward a driver from the shortlisted set of drivers over the past two years. This is to ensure that some of the most eligible drivers who have narrowly missed winning the Award are recognized.
  • The nominated Driver should be driving an ICV or HCV
  • The winner of previous years will not be eligible for the award.
  • The Fleet Driver should be:
    1. Indian citizen above the age of 21 years as on September 19th, 2018.
    2. In possession of a valid Driving License to operate a Heavy Commercial Vehicle, valid till March 31st, 2020.

Evaluation Criteria: Fleet Driver/Super Outperformer Driver

The evaluation for this category is a three-stage process:

Stage 1 - Shortlisting of Drivers based on the nominations received from the Fleet Owners.

Stage 2 - Shortlisted Drivers assessment on multiple parameters including:

  1. Physical Fitness / Medical test
  2. Knowledge of Traffic Rules
  3. Driving Ability - Psychomotor tests
  4. Aptitude and Attitude - Psychometric tests

Stage 3 - Shortlisted Drivers interview and evaluation by the Jury using the following criteria:

  1. Positive impact on customers and operations
  2. Positive impact on drivers and society
  3. Safety consciousness

Commercial Vehicle (CV) Financier - Fleet Owner's Choice

Commercial Vehicle (CV) Financier - Fleet Owner's Choice

  • M&M has instituted this award to recognize and applaud the role of Financiers in enabling the functioning of the goods transport industry
  • The nominations are generated through Voice of the Fleet Owner, Voice of the Fleet Owner, as the primary customer/stakeholder for the CV Financier is the Fleet Owner.
  • The nominations for this category have been submitted by eligible Fleet Owners over the past two years. This year M&M has decided to reward a CV Financier from the shortlisted set of CV Financiers over the past two years. This is to ensure that some of the most eligible CV Financiers who have narrowly missed winning the Award are recognized.

Evaluation Process: Commercial Vehicle (CV) Financier - Fleet Owner's Choice

The evaluation for this category is a three-stage process.

Stage 1 - Fleet Owners nominated up to 3 Financiers who they believe have Outperformed in their support to the Road Transport business ecosystem.

Stage 2 - Financiers shortlisting based on votes received.

Stage 3 - Shortlisted Financiers evaluation by a Jury Panel, who voted on the Winners

Mahindra Saarthi Abhiyaan (MSA) Outperformer

  • M&M has instituted Mahindra Saarthi Abhiyaan scholarship scheme in the year 2014 for girl children of HCV Truck drivers
  • Girl should have completed 10th Standard and should be pursuing higher studies
  • Over 4000 girls have been awarded scholarship till date
  • Only the scholarship awardees are eligible to participate for this Award
  • Objective is to recognize excellence / achievements in Academics / Sports / Arts / Social Service
  • The short-listed nominee's evaluation by Expert Jury
  • Timelines and other rules will be communicated to the participants by M&M

Evaluation based on achievements showcased in Academics / Sports / Arts / Social Service

Highway Dhaba

Eligibility Criteria

  • M&M has instituted "Highway Dhaba" Award to acknowledge the significance of this indispensable element of the Highway Transport Ecosystem, which helps keep the wheels of the industry on the move. The nominations for this category had been obtained through truck driver's voice poll, conducted across India, as per the qualification criteria. The Dhabas can be located anywhere in India.
  • Entities to be located on any highway outside the municipal limits of any town.
  • They should fulfil all statutory criteria of setting up and operating a highway restaurant, and for any other services provided, as per government norms. They should have the following documents in place to be eligible for the Awards:
    1. F&B License to Operate/ License to operate a Dhaba/eatery
    2. Registered sales deed or rent agreement for the land on which the business is carried out
    3. Proof of legal possession of land Owned/Leased/Rented
    4. Certificate from either local administration/Gram panchayat/Police verification, if required
  • Must have completed at least 6 months of operations as on September 19th 2018.
  • Should not be serving liquor and other alcoholic beverages on the premises.
  • The Winners of previous years will not be eligible.
  • The nominations for this category have been submitted by eligible Fleet Drivers over the past two years. This year M&M has decided to reward a Dhaba Owner from the shortlisted set of Dhabas over the past two years. This is to ensure that some of the most eligible Dhabas who have narrowly missed winning the Award are recognized..

Evaluation Process: Highway Dhaba

The evaluation for this category is a three-stage process.

  • Stage 1 - Telephone poll of Drivers has been / will be conducted to nominate their favourite Dhaba along with the reasons. Both qualitative and quantitative data will be captured.
  • Stage 2 - Dhabas will be shortlisted based on the number of votes received. A physical survey and AV capture of the facilities has been / will be undertaken. Final shortlisted dhabas will be audited for hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Stage 3 - Evaluation of the shortlisted Dhaba by a Jury Panel that will determine the winners.
